What is a Master Professional Educator designation?

The Master Professional Educator designation recognizes teachers that are leaders in their field and have deep content knowledge and the pedagogical expertise to effectively transfer that knowledge to students and novice educators.

Becoming a Master Professional Educator is not just a career milestone—it’s an opportunity to transform how you teach and lead in mathematics education.

This designation is an approved pathway to meeting LEARNS targeted-support requirements by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education's (DESE), and allows you to mentor teachers with Aspiring Teacher permits, Arkansas Registered Apprentices, and residents in a state-approved Educator Preparation Program. The Master Teacher program provides an option to further teaching credentials in a way that makes the process enjoyable and interesting. The idea of considering a soliloquy for a mathematical concept and then reading what AI suggests is so enlightening. I appreciate that I have advanced my career through a program that provided flexibility for me...
