What is a Master Professional Educator designation?
The Master Professional Educator designation recognizes teachers who are leaders in their field, possessing deep, practical teaching expertise to develop knowledge in students and novice educators effectively.
This designation is an approved pathway to meeting LEARNS targeted-support requirements by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), and allows you to mentor teachers with Aspiring Teacher permits, Arkansas Registered Apprentices, and residents in a state-approved Educator Preparation Program. Mentorship is one pathway toward merit-based pay bonuses.
